Si allega documentazione appena ricevuta relativa ai lavoratori (stranded expatriates, skilled workers, knowledge workers) che, in possesso di permesso di soggiorno (active pass), non sono stati in grado di rientrare in Malesia a causa del lock down.
Chi si trovasse in tale condizione ed intendesse rientrare in Malesia durante il Recovery MCO (fino al 31 agosto) deve fare in modo che la scheda allegata di richiesta venga compilata ed inviata entro la giornata di domani al Ministero dell’Industria e del Commercio (MIDA), che dovra’ poi rilasciare lettera di supporto. Tale opzione di rientro e’ estesa a chi risulta a carico del lavoratore (con un visto dependant), compreso il personale domestico (maid).
E’ inoltre possibile fare richiesta per nuovi lavoratori, al momento quindi privi di permesso di soggiorno.

For your information, the Immigration Department of Malaysia has issued the new guidelines for Expatriate / Skilled Worker / Knowledge Worker Entering Malaysia for Key Posts and Technical Posts, and for Dependents and Foreign Maids during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period. The guidelines are applicable for the following:
1. Expatriate / skilled worker / knowledge worker with an active pass, who is currently abroad.
2. New expatriate / skilled worker / knowledge worker who is currently abroad.
3. Dependents, including foreign maids to the expatriate / skilled worker / knowledge worker who is currently abroad
