DOING BUSINESS IN MALAYSIA
Malaysia offers important opportunities for Italian companies. Located in the middle of the South-East Asia region, Malaysia offers a system of incentives to investments, has the advantage of being an english speaking country, has a good infrastructural level and qualified work force at moderate costs that facilitate the establishment of new businesses. Thus, several Italian companies decided to open their offices in Malaysia, some of them have also started activities and production. – Agreement on the mutual promotion and protection of Investments (Kuala Lumpur, 4 January 1988)

From April 1st 2015, the Italian Ministery of Economy and Finance has removed Malaysia from the black list “Indeducibility of costs” and from the black list “CFC – Controlled Foreign Companies”. The measure aims to facilitate trade and simplify administrative procedures for investors /operators interested in this market
