The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers scholarships in favour of foreign students for the 2026-2027 academic year, in order to foster international cooperation in cultural, scientific and technological fields, to promote the Italian language and culture and to support Italy’s economic system in the world (According to the Italian law 288/55 and its subsequent changes and additions).
Scholarships are available for attending academic courses on the Italian territory only.

Malaysia is included in the list of eligible countries and territories for the MAECI scholarships.
Candidates can apply exclusively through the Study in Italy portal.
Online applications must be received at the latest by 2 p.m. CET (9 p.m. Malaysian Time) on 26th March 2026.
