MAECI grants to private entities for the purposes of maintaining international peace and security and implementing humanitarian initiatives and protecting human rights

The MAECI Directorate-General for Political and Security Affairs (DGAP), the Directorate-General for Globalisation (DGMO) and the Directorate-General for Europe and International Trade (DGUE) are offering grants to private Italian and foreign entities for purposes related to the maintenance of peace, international security and the implementation of humanitarian and human rights initiatives. This renews an innovative form of public-private partnership which, by drawing on the involvement and expertise of civil society, contributes to strengthen the credibility and effectiveness of Italian foreign policy around the world.

On the Farnesina website, you can find the relevant public notices with their respective attachments. In addition, on the dedicated page of the Transparency section, you can find more information to participate in the call for proposals, including the deadlines for submitting projects.

Private entities with registered offices in Malaysia may submit their applications to the Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur. Applications must be signed, scanned, accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document and sent to the following ordinary email address amb.kualalumpur@esteri.it or certified email address amb.kualalumpur@cert.esteri.it, in accordance with the procedures and within the deadlines set out in the above notices.
