The Italian Embassy is located at no. 7, Jalan Penggawa (off Jalan Ampang Hilir and Jalan U Thant), in an area of town which has traditionally been home to a number of Diplomatic Missions, surrounded by prestigious and elegant residences, whether colonial and modern.
The main road that crosses this area, Jalan Ampang, is in fact known as “Embassy Row” due to the many Embassies and High Commissions that surround both sides of the street.
The Residence of the Ambassador is located on the same street, not far from the Embassy.
How to reach the Embassy
The Italian Embassy, although a short distance from the city centre and not too far away from the Petronas Twin Towers, is not easily accessible by public transport.
As parking options in the proximity are limited, using e-hailing services is highly recommended.
